I am an artist first, an erstwhile writer next.

This journal meanders. I talk about many things, not limited to my family, my art, my writing, knitting, gardening, my opinions on movies, TV, politics (rarely), and my numerous other interests.

What I like to draw: birds, dragons, horses, fantastical beasts, interesting people, open doors, enigmatic windows.

I also keep a writing journal, jenthepen, where I'm keeping track of my progress on my 2-Year Novel for Forward Motion.

Cast of Characters:
My husband is brozinski. :) He's a pianist, working full-time as an accompanist at a performing arts high school.

Bean is our 12-year-old son. He likes science, drawing, telling stories, reading manga, making things, and talking.

Sprout is our 8-year-old son. He likes computers and video games, reading books to himself, and helping me with everything I'm doing.

Peanut is our 4-year-old. He likes to paint, tease his brothers and tell elaborate stories through play.
